Pho Halong is a new developing Vietnamese kitchen that is collaborating with the Little Thai Place at Royal Oak location. It particularly excels at traditional Vietnamese pho, featuring fresh noodles and high quality ingredients such as rib eye steak. Another exciting dish is the cheeseburger spring roll, with it's unique flavours and incredible taste, it is truly one of a kind in the city. Chef Tony Trinh is constantly working on pushing the boundaries of what a traditional Vietnamese menu looks like by offering all house made desserts, limited 4 course tasting menus and many more innovating dishes for you to try.
Sparked with a desire to create artistic and tasty dishes, Tony has built more than 15 years of culinary experience. Born in Victoria BC to Vietnamese parents, Tony was raised on authentic Vietnamese food, and studied culinary arts at Camosun College.
Red-seal certified, Tony has gained invaluable experience all over the city, dishing up western cuisine from the kitchens of pubs, restaurants, and catering companies. Most recently Tony was the Junior Sous Chef at the Victoria Golf Club.
Now, with more than a decade of learning and growing as a chef, he is excited to tackle his next challenge of conquering Vietnamese dishes, coming full circle to his ethnic roots.
